Cheviot "Bacon" Agate Teardrop Plugs | 28mm

A unique pair of teardrop plugs carved from Cheviot Hill "Bacon" Agate, a little know Scottish stone found close to the Scottish/English border on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, This material displays a "streaky bacon" like pattern with pale pink stripes separating darker material, in these, one side is dark red, and the other being a pale gray and white pattern. This is highly sought after and not often found in carvable pieces.
